Elections for Student Veterans of America’s 2009-2010 National Officers and Regional Directors will take place during the conference. Voting will occur online and open Thursday April 16 and close the morning of Sunday April 19th to be announced in person at the conference.
Voting Information:
- Each SVA Chapter gets 1 vote for each national office and their regional director. Each chapter will receive a secure email with a link to their online ballot.
- Chapters need not attend in person to cast their ballot.
- Candidates may not run for more than 1 office.
- Winning candidates may not be their chapter President.
- Candidates must commit to serving the full 1 year term and remain a student veteran during their term.

I would like to wish all Veteran Chapters’ representatives a safe trip and I truly look forward to meeting all of you and exchanging ideas for the future of Veterans, Veteran Advocacy and our important involvement.
I hope all chapter representative, whether attending in person or online, will participate in a engaging forum as up to minute updates will be given via the blog, Twitter and so forth. I will also be online keeping my region abreast of all pertinent issues as I hope others will too.
I will be in SF by noon Friday and look forward to matching faces with names on all of you.
